How it works
- Choose a category, the specific item, the destination, and then decide between a commercial channel or your own transport.
- Owned cars, motorcycles, boats, and aircraft now show a live quote with cargo slots, lower cost, and risk reduction.
- A boat can carry cars and motorcycles; an aircraft cannot carry a boat and will return an immediate error.
- Success chance depends on the selected channel or owned transport, your current Wanted Level, and shipment size.
- On failure you lose the entire shipment. No refund. Cargo and transport costs are gone.
- When you use owned transport and the run fails, the transport asset itself can also be confiscated.
- Active shipments are tracked live in an overview. After arrival the cargo appears in a depot ready for collection.
- Crew network remains available for commercial crew shipments, but owned transport is personal only.
Tips
- Never send your entire stock in one shipment: split across multiple smaller loads to limit catastrophic loss.
- Lower Wanted Level and FBI Heat to a minimum before starting a large smuggling run.
- Use your best aircraft or boat for expensive runs: lower cost helps, but cargo slots and confiscation chance still decide the risk.
- Always collect active depots as fast as possible: expired depot contents are permanently lost.
