Manage all account settings: language, avatar, privacy, notification preferences per system and security options. Settings directly affect your gameplay experience.
How it works
- Language: switch between Dutch and English. All UI texts, system messages and notifications update immediately.
- Avatar and selfie portrait: switch a preset in Settings (at most once per week; VIP looks need Player VIP) or turn a photo into a gangster portrait. Full steps live in Help → Profile & avatar and in the Almanac handbook.
- Privacy: set who can see your online status, location (current country) and statistics — only you, crew, friends or everyone.
- Push notifications: toggle per system. Categories: Crimes, Crypto trading, Price alerts, Orders, live player events (competition), Market regime, Heist, Nightclub, general messages.
- If push was already allowed, the web/PWA version automatically reconnects to your current device token after a refresh or update; you only need to re-enable it in Settings when the browser itself blocks notifications.
- Crypto notification preferences remain saved after leaving Settings and opening it again later.
- In-app notifications: configurable separately from push. In-app shows alerts inside the app without sending a system notification.
- Security: change password, set up two-factor authentication and view active sessions.
- Per-system notification preference: fine tune so you do not get a notification storm from systems you are not actively playing.
Tips
- Enable push notifications for Crypto Orders and Heist Events: these are time-critical systems where quick reaction matters.
- Set privacy to crew-only for location when you are active on the hitlist: other players can otherwise pinpoint you exactly.
