Handbook for Mods and Ops: remove messages, mute players, read reports, and the same tools on Discord. Regular players long-press a message to report it.
How it works
- A Super-admin sets you to Mod or Ops on Admin → Players. You keep playing on the same account. No second password.
- Open Social → World chat. A gold Mod or Ops chip sits in the header. Other players see that badge next to your name, including on your own bubbles.
- Long-press someone else’s message. The menu has Remove for everyone, Mute 15 min, Mute 1 hour, Unmute, or Report. There is no floating staff button: it lives in that long-press menu.
- Long-pressing your own green bubbles only deletes your line (about 10 minutes). Mute and remove-for-everyone are not on your own bubble.
- The flag in the header opens the report list. Those are messages players reported. Handle them in chat: long-press to delete or mute.
- Mute 15 minutes is a warning. Mute 1 hour if it continues. Unmute lifts it. A mute hits the game and Discord if that account is linked.
- You cannot mute another Mod or Ops. Bans, money, rank or VIP stay Super-admin.
- Discord: link Discord in Settings. Game posts show [Ops] or [Mod] on the name. Reply with !wis to delete in-game and on Discord. !mute name 15 or 60 mutes. !unmute name lifts it. !hulp lists the commands.
- Admin site admin.themobstate.com: sign in with your game account. Mod only sees World chat. Ops sees World chat, Tickets and Players (read). No config, no ban button, no money tools.
- Regular players: long-press someone else’s message and choose Report. That is the only way to send it to staff.
Tips
- Read reports first, then delete or mute only what does not belong in the lobby.
- Type !hulp on Discord if you forget the commands. Discord must be linked in the game.
- This is not a cop account: you still play, you only keep world chat in line.
