Messages

Your inbox with personal player messages and system messages about rewards, orders and game events.

How it works

Messages are split into personal conversations and The Mob State system thread.
System messages are sent automatically for: crypto trades, order fills, leaderboard payouts, heist results, jail escapes and achievement badges.
You can send messages to other players as long as their privacy settings allow it.
On a keyboard, Enter sends the message and Shift+Enter starts a new line. Event shortcuts stay hidden on Messages so they do not cover the send button.
After you have read a notice or chat you can remove it from your inbox (swipe, trash icon, or Clear read). The other player keeps the chat. A new message brings it back. Unread items stay until you open them.
Unread messages appear as a badge on the message icon and are visible from the dashboard.
Messages do not expire and are kept as a historical log of account events.
Use the inbox log when in doubt about a payout, a missed order fill or an unexpected balance change.

Check your inbox after long offline periods: rewards, order fills and events are all recorded there.
Configure notification preferences via Settings so you only receive push alerts for truly important events.
